Seer Case: Court adjourns petition for 2 weeks

Chennai: The Madras High Court today (Jan 2, 2006) adjourned by two weeks, hearing of a petition seeking transfer of the 'Sankararaman Murder Case', being heard by a Pondicherry sessions court, to a more spacious one and less centrally located.

When the petition filed recently by an advocate Sridhar came up for hearing, a Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice A P Shah and Justice Prabha Sridevan adjourned the case after the Pondicherry Government Pleader sought time to get instructions from the Government.
