One arrested in Amar Singh phone tapping case

New Delhi: One more person has been arrested in connection with the alleged phone tapping of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.

Kuldeep, an associate of Bhupendra who was arrested here on December 31, was nabbed last night, police sources said today (Jan 3, 2006).

Bhupendra, owner of a detective agency in south Delhi, was allegedly tapping phones of Singh for the last two-and-a half months at the behest of some person believed to be using the name of police.

Kuldeep as produced before a court here which sent him to three days police custody.
