CBI asks TADA court for Salem's judical custody Wednesday, January 4 2006 17:26 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Extradited gangster Abu Salem was today (Jan 3, 2006)further remanded to Judicial custody till January 5 by TADA court in 1993 serial bomb blasts case.
CBI told the court today that they will seek Salem's custody again after two days in the light of fresh developments in investigation of bomb blasts case. So far Salem was in custody of Mumbai Police.
The Judge P D Kode allowed Riaz Siddiqui, arrested in Pradip Jain murder case, to be handed over to the CBI for now, so that CBI may produce him before the court for seeking his custody in Bomb Blasts trial.
Siddiqui is alleged to have played a role in 1993 serial bomb blasts too.
Another TADA court which is trying 1995 Pradip Jain murder case, earlier today remanded Salem to judicial custody.
