Tuesday, January 3 2006 12:10 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: A police constable and the driver of a pilot vehicle that was part of Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh's convoy were injured when an on-coming mini-truck collided with it near Hiresave, about 100 kms away from here today (Jan 03, 2006).

Sources in the Chief Minister's secretariat said the bus in which Singh, some ministers and top officials were travelling to Shravanabelagola to oversee arrangements for the coming Mahamasthakibhisheka of Lord Gomateshwara proceeded further.

The injured were shifted to a hospital at Chennarayapatna by an ambulance that trailed the Chief Minister's convoy, sources said.
