TADA court remands Abu Salem to judicial custody

Mumbai: The designated TADA court at the here today (Jan 3, 2006) remanded extradited gangster Abu Salem to judicial custody so that he could be produced before the TADA court in Arthur Road jail complex, which is hearing the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

The TADA court, at the sessions court complex, which is hearing the Pradeep Jain murder case, also extended the police custody of Naeem Khan and Mehendi Hassan till January 17 and that of another accused, Virendra Kumar Jhamb, till January 12.
