30 killed, 36 wounded in bomb attack at Iraq funeral

Baquba: Thirty people were killed and 36 wounded today (Jan 4, 2006) in a bomb attack on a Shiite Muslim funeral procession northeast of the Iraqi capital, police said.

The attack in Mukdadiyah, about 100 kms from Baghdad, targeted mourners at a grave site.

Early reports suggested the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
