Chennai: The Madras High Court, upholding a lower court order, granting bail to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) councillor of Chennai Corporation, Danasekaran, arrested in connection with December 18 stampede here, had proved that theAll India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Government in the state was adopting 'dictatorial' attitude towards the opposition, DMK President M Karunanidhi said here today (Jan 6,2006).

In a statement, he said nutral minded people and the public should ponder over whether there was any justificationfor detaining Danasekaran under the Goondas act.
