'Bangalore firing: Police to uncover the conspiracy'

Bangalore: The police would soon uncover the conspiracy and the culprits involved in the terrorist attack on the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh said today (Jan 7,2006).

"There is a progress in the investigations into the December 28 terrorist strike on IISc and it is expected reach a stage in few days", Singh told the press here.

The special police teams formed to probe the attack have visited several states and collated vital informations in connection with the incident, he said and assured to make public details soon.

"The police have nullified the plans of terrorists to trigger off violence in several parts of the state, "he said.

The attack on IISc in which militants sprayed bullets on delegates attending an international science conference has left a IIT professor from Delhi dead and four others injured.
