Delhi continues to shiver, temp at 1.6 degree Celsius
Tuesday, January 10 2006 10:36 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: The winter woes of Delhiites continue with temperatures remaining low and a thin layer of mist enveloping the region.

The minimum temperature recorded was 4.3 degrees Celsius at 0610 hours today (Jan 10, 2006), a slight rise from yesterday's 1.6. The maximum temperature was 19.3 degrees.

Runway visibility range at the Palam airport was at 1200 metres and a layer of mist enveloped the capital in the early hours today, Meteorological Department officials said.

Rail services remained behind schedule and trains reaching Delhi were delayed as the plains were under a thick fog cover. However, air traffic was unaffected.
