114 Hand grenades found in Golden Temple premises

Amritsar: Over 100 hand grenades were today (Jan 10, 2006) found in the premises of Golden Temple during digging for some construction work, police said.

The hand grenades were found near Guru Nanak Niwas, the Senior Superintendent of Police R P S Brar said.

The SGPC informed the police of the incident, who later recovered the grenades.
