Speciality hospital to be named after K R Narayanan

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala cabinet yesterday (Jan 11, 2006) decided to upgrade the Public Health Centre at Uzhavoor in Kottayam district into a speciality hospital and name it after former president K R Narayanan.

Talking to reporters after a cabinet meeting here, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the Government would provide necessary funds for infrastructure and also sanction additional staff at the hospital.
