Suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba militant, Abdul Rehman, who was arrested in connection with the December 28 terror attack on the Indian Institute of Science here, has been subjected to a narco-analysis test.
"Rehman underwent the test yesterday," Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) H C Kishorechandra said but refused to reveal details.
The test results cannot be revealed owing to security reasons and to avoid any hindrance to the investigation, police said.
The 35-year-old Rehman was arrested at Nalgonda in Andhra Pradesh on January one by the Bangalore police.
According to Police, Rehman, suspected to be in charge of LeT operations in South India,was a frequent visitor to Saudi Arabia and had stayed there for a few years.
A retired IIT professor was killed and four persons were injured in the December 28 attack outside the J N Tata auditorium in the IISC complex.
