Notices to LS Speaker, 3 others on MP's expulsion

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today (Jan 13, 2006) issued notices to Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chaterjee and three others on a petition filed by expelled Lok Sabha Member Lal Chander Pol, challenging his expulsion from the Parliament, in the cash-for-query scam.

A division Bench of Justice Vijinder Jain and Justice Rekha Sharma asked the respondents to file their replies within two weeks and posted the matter for further hearing till February 16, when it would be taken up along with other related petitions.
