Expelled leader Uma Bharati concludes Ram Roti yatra

Ayodhya: Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Uma Bharati today (Jan 14, 2006) concluded her 48-day 'Ram Roti' yatra here and announced yet another yatra to drum up public support in an attempt to launch a political outfit.

Bharati said she would take out a 'Jan Adesh' yatra from Feb 6 from Vrindavahini to Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh.

The yatra will criss-cross UP, Uttaranchal Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and several other states.

The yatra is seen as an attempt to galvanise public support.

She said she would decide her future course of action after culmination of yatra.

Bharti also adopted a five-point pledge, Swabhiman, Suraksha, Swadeshi, Suchita and Suraaj, saying these will be her guiding principles.
