Cash-for-query: SC issues notice to LS Speaker

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Jan 16,2006) issued notices to the Lok Sabha Speaker and some others on a petition by former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Raja Ram Pal, caught on camera in the cash-for-query scam, challenging his expulsion from the House.

The Bench headed by Chief Justice Y K Sabbharwal also referred the matter to a Constitution Bench.
