Raj meets party supremo Bal Thackeray on birthday

Mumbai: Former Shiv Sena leader Raj today (Jan 23, 2006) met his uncle and party supremo Bal Thackeray to wish him on his 79th birthday.

Raj drove to Thackery residence 'Matoshree' at suburban Bandra, and was with the Sena Chief for about half an hour, sources said.

Raj, who has recently completed his first leg of state-wide tour, has announced that he would launch a new political party in March.

On December 18, Raj had quit Sena and announced his decision to float a new party.
