I will reveal strategy in Assembly tomorrow: Dharam Thursday, January 26 2006 13:13 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Bangalore:
Embattled Karnataka Chief Minister N Dharam Singh said today (Jan 26, 2006) he would reveal his strategy vis-a-vis the political crisis on the floor of the Legislative Assembly when he seeks the vote of confidence tomorrow and expressed confidence about the continuation of the Congress- Janata Dal(JD) Secular (S) coalition Government.
"Whatever happens, will happen tomorrow. We will reveal our strategy at 10 am tomorrow. I am still confident that (JD) (S) President) Devegowda will support me", Singh told reporters here.
Asked on what basis he is confident, the Chief Minister replied, "How can I tell you". He added: "I hope, Devegowda will support me to prevent (Bharatiya Janata Party BJP) from coming to power".
When a scribe told him that the Congress High Command has given up hope on the survival of the Government, Singh shot back, "How do you know ?".
To another question, he retorted: "How do you know that talks (between the Congress high command and Devegowda) are taking place or not ? Do they tell you ?"
