Bihar: 10 yr old boy Sumit abducted from Adalpur

Hajipur: In yet another case of abduction in Bihar, a 10-year-old boy was kidnapped from Adalpur in Vaishali district, while he was going to school to take part in the Republic Day function.

The boy, Sumit Kumar, son of a railway booking clerk was abducted by motocycle-borne kidnappers when he way on his way to school yesterday with his cousin, the police said today (Jan 27,2006).

The kidnappers forced the boy on to their motorcycle and sped away, the sources said.

Initially, the boy's family registered a missing diary, with the Sadar police station, but today his father filed a complaint that his son, a student of Standard V, had been kidnapped.

Angry over the incident, a group of people blocked traffic and also the railway track at the Diggi railway crossing in the district today.
