Bangalore: Dharam Singh resigns as Karnataka CM

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister Dharam Singh today (Jan 28,2006)announced his decision to resign.

Announcing his decision at a press conference after meeting Governor T N Chaturvedi, Singh said he was sending his resignation to him.

Earlier, Sing met the Governor around noon when he asked him to step down in the wake of his failure to prove his majority on the floor of the assembly.
