Bombay HC adjourns RIL-NTPC case till February 28

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court today (Jan 30,2006) deferred till February 28, hearing on a petition filed by National Thermal Power Corporation seeking ad-interim relief against Reliance Industries Limited with regard to signing of gas sales and purchase agreement between the two.

Justice S U Kamdar adjourned the hearing till February 28.

State-owned NTPC, the country's biggest power producer, was scheduled to file a rejoinder to the affidavit filed by RIL on January 17.

In view of the adjournment today, the NTPC would file its reply next week.
