Jammu:
The moderate faction of the Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq will be holding its second round of talks with displaced Kashmiri Pandit leaders here on Saturday on the issue of return of the migrants to the Kashmir Valley.
Besides the Hurriyat delegation, over 150 delegates of Kashmir Pandits, Muslims and Sikhs were scheduled to attend the meet organised by Action Committee for Return of Migrants here on Saturday, ACRM president Jitender Bakshi said today (Jan 30,2006).
He said it would be the second meeting of the Hurriyat moderates with representatives of the Pandit community after the one in Srinagar on September 18 last year.
The meetings were also aimed at bringing the Pandit and Muslim communities of Jammu and Kashmir on a common platform to iron out any differences and facilitate return of the migrants to the Valley, Bakshi added.
