Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister-designate H D Kumaraswamy cancelled his visit to New Delhi today (Feb 1,2006) to meet top Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leaders.

Kumaraswamy told reporters here that he was 'a bit tired' after the hectic schedule in the past fews days and asserted that no significance should be attached to the cancellation of the visit.

He was earlier slated to meet BJP leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Rajnath Singh at New Delhi.

Kumaraswamy is scheduled to meet his father and JDS supremo H D Devegowda here tomorrow and seek his 'blessings' ahead of the swearing in of the JDS-BJP coalition government on February three.

Sources close to Devegowda said the former Prime Minister is steadfast and has made it amply clear that he is against Janata Dal (JD)Secular (S) joining hands with the BJP.
