Chennai: The AIADMK's general council today (Feb 4,2006) authorised party supremo Jayalalithaa to take a decision on the party's electoral strategy for the coming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Kerala.

A resolution to this affect was unanimously passed by the party general council, the top policy making body of the party here.
