Gowda likely to expel Kumaraswamy, party rebels

New Delhi: Expulsion of Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and other rebel MLAs from the Janata Dal (JD)Secular (S) seems to be on the cards with party President H D Deve Gowda having decided to take all necessary action against those who have flouted the party's principles and discipline by aligning with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

"The party president will take all necessary steps including expulsion of all those who have violated the principles and discipline of the party inspite of their status and position," JD (S) spokesman and Secretary General Kunwar Danish Ali told sources.
