Software to Philippines for tele-education: India

Manila: India today (Feb 6 2006) announced it will donate a software to the University of Philippines for promoting tele-educaton and communication with Indian universities.

"India will provide a software to Philippines so that we can conduct tele-education to create a Virtual University in which research institutes and educational institutes will be connected through the internet," Kalam said in an interaction with students and teachers of the University of Philippines here.
