Dharam to be Opposition Leader in K'taka Assembly

Bangalore: Former Chief Minister N Dharam Singh was recognized as the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly by the Speaker Krishna today (Feb 8,2006).

The Speaker made the announcement as the House met today to take up the trust vote sought by the BJP-JDS coalition, following the resignation of the Congress-led Government in the wake of withdrawal of support by Kumarswamy-led JDS MLAs.
