Bomb blasts near CM Buddhadeb's residence

Kolkata: Two bomb blasts rocked close to Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's residence in Ballygunge area here following a clash between two groups of a political party.

The explosions occurred at Bondel Road near the Chief Minister's Palm Avenue residence at around 7 a.m., police sources said.

Three persons were taken into custody by the security personnel posted at the CM's residence and nine crude bombs were recovered from them, they said.
