Air operations disrupts in the capital due to fog
Tuesday, February 21 2006 10:03 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Air services were disrupted for over four hours here this morning after a thick blanket of fog enveloped the national capital and surrounding areas.

No services operated from the Delhi airport between five and nine this morning as the Runway Visibility Range reduced to near zero. Air operations resumed at 9.15 a.m. as fog started clearing away, airport sources said.

Several international flights to the capital were diverted, they said.

Air services were hit due to fog last Friday also.
