New Delhi: The PMO's alleged interference in the functioning of CBI rocked the Rajya Sabha today (Feb 23,2006) as voiceferous BJP members demanded an explanation from the government over the issue leading to the adjournment of the House twice before lunch.

Raising slogans like 'stop misuse of CBI', the BJP members demanded immediate explanation and when the members refused to heed the repeated plea for order, Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan adjourned the House after listed papers were tabled.
