Mumbai: A sessions court today(Feb 24,2006) sentenced to life imprisonment 10 persons and acquitted seven others in the Best Bakery case.

Those sentenced were held guilty of setting on fire the Best Bakery in Vadodara on March 1, 2002 during the post-Godhra riots, killing 14 people.

Judge Abhay Tipsay also ruled that witnesses who turned hostile will be prosecuted for purgery.
