Two Hizbul Mujahideen militants arrested: J&K

Jammu: Security forces have arrested three persons, including two Hizbul Mujahideen ultras, and hauled a large quantity of arms and ammunition from militant hideouts in Doda, Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir overnight.

A Hizb militant, Mushtaq Ahmed alias Zuber from Kuchhal area in Kishtwar block of Doda district was arrested and two hand grenades seized from him, a defence spokesman said.

He said another Hizb man Mohammad Sharief was apprehended in Kashitigarh area of the district and two hand grenades found on him.

Army troops also took into custody a man who was moving about under suspicious circustances near the Galuthi Post in Rajouri district. The were interrogating the man, identified as Munir Hussain of Sadullah village in Manjkote area of the district, the spokesman added.
