Kolkata:
Accused of misappropriating funds to the tune of crores of rupees by BCCI top brass, former Cricket Board chief Jagmohan Dalmiya today (Feb 27 2006) filed a "point-by-point" reply to each of the charges and challenged his adversaries to prove any of their allegation.
"Nobody has lost a single paisa - be it BCCI or Cricket Association of Bengal," Dalmiya said at a press conference here.
The veteran sports administrator, who forwarded his point-by-point reply to the charges to BCCI's Marketing Committee today, said he was ready for a trial by media so that the truth could come out.
Asked if he was contemplating any legal action, Dalmiya said "I have already given the papers to my lawyers, once I find things are going too much beyond control, I will not hesitate in moving the judiciary."
Dalmiya also said he had something to reveal about BCCI's TV rights deal. "I have a lot to tell. I will come to you very soon. Only I know what kind of transparency they have," he said.
