New Delhi: Visiting US President George W Bush today(Mar 2,2006) offered floral tributes to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial in Rajghat here.

Bush, accompanied by wife Laura, offered obeisance at Rajghat on the banks of river Yamuna as hymns played in the background.

Bush drove down to the memorial of the Mahatma after a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
