Chaos over Bush's visit, LS adjourns till 2 p.m

New Delhi: Lok Sabha today(Mar 2,2006) plunged into turmoil as agitated Samajwadi Party and Left members protested vociferously against US President George W Bush's visit to India.

The House was adjourned till 1400 hrs as soon as it met for the day.

It was trouble from the word go as angry SP members stormed the well immediately after Deputy Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal made obituary reference to former Union Minister Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav.

The SP members, wearing red colour caps, were soon joined in by Left members. They raised slogans "Go back Bush. Go back Bush".

The Left and the SP are supporting the UPA Government from outside.

The main opposition BJP and its allies watched the slogan shouting as treasury benches looked a bit embarrassed.
