Karunanidhi refuses to comment on Vaiko's decision
Saturday, March 4 2006 13:45 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Tiruchirappalli: 'Nothing to say' was the reaction of DMK President M Karunanidhi today on the MDMK's decision to align with the ruling AIADMK for the May 8 polls to the Tamil Nadu assembly.

Asked whether the decision was due to the offer of less number of seats, he told reporters: "I do not know".

After the DMK's general council meeting here yesterday, Karunanidhi had said that his party could only offer 22 seats to MDMK, apparently prompting the Vaiko-led party to switch sides.
