New Delhi: A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale, has struck the Andaman islands, the Met department said here today(Mar 10,2006).

The tremor, which struck at 23:52 hours last night, was epicentred at latitude 10.4 deg North and longitude 94 deg East, the department said.
