Three suspected Babbar Khalsa terrorists arrested

New Delhi: Three suspected Babbar Khalsa terrorists were arrested in north-west Delhi early this morning (Mar 20 2006), police sources said.

Paramjit Singh, a close associate of Babbar Khalsa international chief Jagtar Singh Hawara, and his accomplices Jasbir and Bhupender, were arrested from Nanglipura area around 6 a.m., they said.

Four kg RDX, detonators and a pistol were recovered from them, they added.

Paramjeet is suspected to have played a role in the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.
