Lok Janashakti Party (LJP), Kerala unit has decided to field its candidates in 15 assembly
constituencies for the coming elections in the state.
The decision was taken by the party's Parliamentary Board meeting held here on March 21, Tharian Joseph, president, LJP Kerala unit, said in a release here today(Mar 23,2006).
Union minister and National President of LJP, Ramvilas Paswan, Ram Chandra Paswan, MP and other leaders of the party would be visiting Kerala for election campaigning, he said.
"A decision on the party's strategy in rest of the constituencies will be taken after consultation with LJP's national leadership," he said.
According to the candidates' list released, Mundela Prasad would contest from Neyyattinkara, B L Jose (Aryanad), Pallikkal Surendran (Pandhalam), Kunjupillai (Mavelikkara), Poikayil Prasannakumar (Kottayam), Usha Joseph (Ernakulam), Saju Vadassery (Aluva), Ramachandran P H (Tripunithura), P S Abdulla Haji (Thrissur-Cherpu), Kannan V M (Nattika), K K Rajeev (Manjeri), I Sreedharan (Nilambur), K K Vasu (Sultan Battery), Jacob Peter (Palluruthy) and Ranjit John (Kalpetta).
