Tuesday, March 28 2006 18:48 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: BJP President Rajnath Singh will visit Ayodhya tomorrow (Mar 29, 2006) ahead of the start of his national protection yatra from April 6.

Party sources said the visit to Ayodhya will be to seek the blessings of Lord Ram at the makeshift temple there and to reiterate the BJP's commitment to construction of the temple.

This is his first visit to Ayodhya after taking over as party President.

The BJP President begins his bharat uraksha atra on April 6 from Bhubaneshwar to Delhi. On the same day former party President L K Advani also starts on a similar yatra from Rajkot to Delhi.

Singh will be accompanied by National Secretary Vijay Goel, who is also incharge of the yatra.
