BJP Prez Rajnath Singh condoles Bansi Lal's death

New Delhi: BJP President Rajnath Singh today (Mar 29, 2006) condoled the death of former Haryana Chief Minister Bansi Lal saying with his demise the state has lost a true son and a strong pillar.

"Lal was a veteran in Haryana politics and architect of modern Haryana. With his demise, Haryana has lost a true son and a strong pillar, who later became the chariot of the country's development", Singh said in his condolence message to the bereaved family.

Describing Bansi Lal as a 'true nationalist,' the BJP Chief said, "although we may have had political differences, the country has always respected him and his contribution."
