Naxalites kills Zila parishad member's relatives

(Nawada) Bihar: Naxalites shot dead two relatives of a member of Nawada zila parishad and critically wounded his mother at Manania Kari village in Bihar's Nawada district, police said today (Apr 04, 2006).

Superintendent of police Shalin told sources that around a dozen naxalites raided the house of zila parishad member Ambika Yadav last night and shot dead his nephew and sister.

Yadav's mother was rushed to Patna medical college and hospital in a serious condition. Yadav himself was not present at the time of the attack. Raids are on to apprehend the culprits, Shalin added.
