NC not to field candidate against Ghulam Nabi Azad

Srinagar: Opposition National Conference today said it will not put up a candidate against Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who is seeking entry into the state Assembly from Bhaderwah constituency.

Announcing the party's decision at a press conference here, National Conference President Omar Abdullah said his party will also not field a candidate from Sangrama constituency of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Besides Bhaderwah and Sangrama, two more constituencies of Rafiabad and Pattan are slated to go to polls on April 24.
