Advani declines to comment on fresh Joshi CDs
Wednesday, April 12 2006 14:27 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Solapur (Maharashtra): Senior BJP leader L K Advani today (Apr 12, 2006) declined to comment on the fresh circulation of sleazy CDs allegedly showing party General Secretary Sanjay Joshi in a poor light but said the earlier allegations against him have subsequently been proved baseless.

"I don't know. I have nothing to say. The earlier allegations against him have been proved baseless and he has been taken back into the party," the Leader of Opposition told reporters here when asked about new CDs, which have been circulated among mediapersons in Delhi.

Joshi was reinstated as party General Secretary (Organisation) after the Madhya Pradesh Police gave him a clean chit in the CD controversy.

Advani and some other party leaders were reportedly against his induction back into the party but he was reinstated after the RSS intervened.
