'Process to form new party to start from Apr 27' Saturday, April 15 2006 12:09 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Lucknow:
Expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti yesterday (Apr 14, 2006) said the procedure for the launch of her new outfit would begin from April 27 next.
"The process for forming a new party will start from April 27 next," she told sources here.
Making it clear that there was no question of her going back to BJP, the fiery sanyasin said earlier that party was saying it could consider my return if she sought it and now it was making an offer.
Bharti said there could, however, be some kind of an adjustment with BJP like the Left parties and
"We could share seats in the forthcoming assembly elections in UP and Uttaranchal," he said.
In reply to a question, she said she had asked BJP national Vice-President Kalyan Singh to join her but he had not replied.
Replying to a question, Bharti denied reports that she had at any point of time praised Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
"I simply had said that she (Sonia) is a decent lady.We may have political and ideological differences but we should believe in healthy politics," she added.
