Slight intensity quake hits India-Myanmar Border

New Delhi: A slight intensity earthquake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale, shook the India-Myanmar Border region yesterday (Apr 14, 2006) night.

The quake, occurred at 2155 hrs yesterday, was epicentered at a latitude of 24 degree North and a longitude of 94.9 degree East, the MeT office said here.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualty.
