Mumbai: Arun Gawli booked under stringent MCOCA

Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch today (Apr 15, 2006) booked gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Orgainsed Crime Prevention Act (MCOCA).

The stringent Act was invoked against Gawli in the wake of series of extortion and threatening cases registered against him in the past few months, sources said.
