Former AIADMK Ministers to support DMK Monday, April 17 2006 18:35 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Chennai:
Charging AIADMK supreme Jayalalithaa and MDMK General Secretary Vaiko with making 'provocative speeches' in their election campaign, three former AIADMK Ministers today extended support to the DMK.
The former ministers - K Rajaram, V V Swaminathan and K Raja Mohammed - today (Apr 17, 2006) told sources that DMK President M Karunanidhi was "accommodative while Jayalalithaa was full of deficiencies."
"She was wrongly accusing the Centre of totally ignoring Tamil Nadu, while implementation of the Sethu Samudram project and declaring Tamil as classical language, were evidence enough of how much the Centre was concentrating on the state," they said.
"Jayalalithaa ought to be taught a lesson in the forth-coming elections," they said.
