Rajnath Singh's rath yatra to roll into UP tomorrow

Lucknow: BJP President Rajnath Singh's 'bharat suraksha yatra' would enter Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, while the yatra undertaken by his predecessor L K Advani would roll in on May 3.

The two leaders would address 30 meetings in 14 districts each of the state, State BJP vice-president Surya Pratap Shahi told sources here today (Apr 17, 2006).

BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, state BJP chief Kesri Nath Tripathi, Leader of the Opposition Lalji Tandon would be present at Varanasi to welcome Singh when he arrives there tomorrow evening, he said.

While Singh would be spending seven days in the state, Opposition leader Advani would spend four days, Shahi said.
