PM arrives on a two-day electioneering in Kerala

Kochi: Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, arrived here this morning on a two-day election tour of Kerala.

He was received at the airport by Union Minster Vayalar Ravi and other Congress leaders. The Prime Minister left immediately by helicopter for Perumbavoor where he will be addressing an election rally.

From Perumbavoor, the Prime Minister will leave for Thodupuzha in the hilly district of idukki. Dr Singh, who will be camping at Kochi tonight, is scheduled to address a press conference in the evening.

He will be addressing election meetings at Pattambi in Palakkad district, Quilandy in Kozhikode and Iritty in Kannur district, before emplaning for Delhi from Kozhikode airport.
