BJP has nothing to worry over Khurana issue: Naidu
Friday, April 21 2006 14:10 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Kozhikode: BJP today (Apr 21, 2006) said it did not wish to respond to the charges made by former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana, who has resigned from the party as it has nothing to worry over the issue.

"Once Khurana is out of the party, why should we worry",BJP national Vice-President M Venkiah Naidu told a meet-the-press, organised by the Calicut Press Club here.

Naidu is on an election tour of Kerala to campaign for BJP candidates for the coming Assembly elections.

Asked about the allegations made by Khurana against some party leaders, Naidu said "As long as he was in the BJP, the party was good for him. Now that he is out, the party is bad".

Stating that individuals mattered little in the party, he said Uma Bharti also did not pose any threat to the BJP.

"Individuals only add strength and gain strength in the party", Naidu added.
